Founder and coach
Mercedes Rose got her start in voiceover by accident back in her early 20's. She began Voiceover Driving School in 2005 to give Portland voice talent a place to practice their craft in a safe and fun environment. Coach
Leslie Jane is a talented local voice artist trained in Chicago. She is known as the "Grownup with the kid voice". With a background in teaching and lots of energy she makes a great voice coach! Leslie specializes in leading VDS Playgroups and teaching our very popular character classes. You can check out her voice demo here.
Engineer
Marc Rose has been a recording engineer, composer, and sound designer
for 27 years. He has created audio identities for such a diverse
client base as; AT&T, Visa, Capital Radio London, TNN, and the
Discovery Channel.
Marc continues to produce an internationally award winning radio
drama series Dry Smoke and Whispers Holodio Theatre for XM Satellite
Radio. The programs are also aired on various public radio stations
across the country. The series is in it's 26th year in syndication.
